Vaginal conjugated estrogens belongs to a class of hormones called estrogens. It is used for the treatment of vaginal dryness and genital shrinkage. They work by supplementing your system with the hormone that is no longer being produced by your body.

Unlike oral conjugated estrogens, it has not been determined whether vaginal conjugated estrogens increase your risk for endometrial cancer. However, the risk of endometrial cancer can be minimized for oral estrogens by taking a progestin at the same time.

FDA Approved Uses

Treatment of atrophic vaginitis and vulvar atrophy.
